With the Nexus Mod Manager modding is easier than ever before, but a modding novice (like me) still needs quite some time to get used to it.

Thousands of people worked millions of hours (roughly estimated) to patch all the issues and made the game more enjoyable. Luckily the modding community helped me out with a bunch of solutions. And then I remembered the countless crashes and in-game bugs that drove me mad over and over again. Also the clumsy game mechanics and the character and weapon animation are inconceivably bad.

The low res textures reminded me of 1990s games and the color scheme and weather make it look like it takes place on mars. I installed the game, started a new character build вЂ¦ and was shocked how outdated it looks. By the end of January 2017 I heard rumours about вЂњFallout New Vegas 2вЂќ which seem to be wrong, but after years of playing other games I was up for another round of FNV. Long: I really love the Fallout franchise and I own all of the games with вЂњFallout New VegasвЂќ being my favourite. Feel free to ask questions if anything is unclear. IвЂ™ll make links out of the list items but I donвЂ™t have time now. UIO, while very handy and popular, made the game crash on startup so itвЂ™s not in the list. Tested them all but it looks like itвЂ™s all in the main pack as well. The game looks really good, gameplay is improved and it even runs stable and smooth on my old gtx970. It took about 4 months but it was worth the work.
